* Ashkum's 150th Birthday party kicks off today. A Queen Pageant tonight gets the four-day celebration running. The I-57 community in Iroquois County welcomes all visitors this weekend; several events are planned, including a Saturday parade at 11 am. A fireworks display caps the weekend fun Sunday night.
